What Can I Sell?

CLOTHING: Important Note : The WINTER event is a season specific event!!!   We will accept fall and winter clothing.  Please save your spring/summer items for our Spring sale.

Acceptable Sizes: newborn to teen.
Condition: All clothing must be in like-new condition. Clothing with stains, tears, or that is simply outdated will not be accepted. Clothing must also smell nice! Smoky, attic-stored, or plain stinky clothing will be returned to you at check-in!
Maternity clothing: All sizes. Must not be outdated and must be in excellent condition.

Note: Clothing from Wal-mart and K-mart will NOT be accepted. They do not sell well. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT GARANIMALS, FADED GLORY, CHILD OF MINE, or CIRCO.  Here are a few brands that we do accept that sell well: Zutana, Mini Boden, Gymboree, J. Crew, GAP, Roxy, Le Top, QuickSilver, Janie & Jack, Baby Lulu, Hannah Anderson, Ralph Lauren, Guess, Burberry, Columbia, Lucky, Juicy, Matilda Jane, Mudpie, Ralph Lauren, and Robeez.

Remember, outfits sell better than single items.  Even if the two pieces did not come together, if you dressed your child in them together, consider selling it as a set. Please make sure the two pieces are the same size!

SHOES:

Sizes: Newborn to teen.
Condition: Shoes must have little wear and look new. We will be very picky on shoes.  Some shoe polish and a Magic Eraser can go a long way in improving the look.

BABY EQUIPMENT:

Excersaucers, Bumbos, high chairs, walkers, strollers, playpens, etc.

• Equipment needs to be VERY CLEAN and fully functional.
• If batteries are required for normal operation, they must be included and fully functional. New batteries are recommended.

FURNITURE:

Bassinets, bunk beds, twin beds, double or full-sized beds, dressers, armoires, student’s desks, glide rockers, changing tables, bookshelves, etc.

NOTE: Due to new CPSIA guidelines in effect as of 06/2011, we cannot consign cribs of any kind, regardless of manufacture date, type, materials, etc. 

• Furniture must be in excellent condition and very clean.

CAR SEATS + BOOSTERS:

You will be asked to sign a waiver stating your car seat/booster has never been in an accident and is less than 5 years old.

CHILDREN’S ROOMS ACCESSORIES:

Rugs, drapes, lamps, wall art, storage units, shelving, etc.

BEDDING:

Blankets, crib sheets, twin or double or full-sized bedding, bumper pads, receiving blankets, etc.

• All bedding must be freshly laundered (hint: if it smells good, it will sell faster!)

TOYS:

Nearly all toys are accepted.

• Accepting only "Build-A-Bears" with accessories. Stuffed animals without moving parts will NOT be accepted.
• Stuffed animals MUST move AND make noise to be accepted.
  
• Toys must have ALL pieces and fresh batteries as required.  

NURSING & FEEDING:

Nursing cover-ups, bottles, pacifiers, toddler silverware, bottles, sippy-cups, bibs, bottle warmers, etc.

BOOKS:

Gently used children’s books and those related to childbirth, nursing, and parenting.

VIDEOS/DVDS:

Children’s entertainment only.

• Only G or PG movies will be accepted.
• Media must be in its original case and working properly to be accepted.

CDS:

Children’s CDS in original case. No skipping.

COMPUTER GAMES:

Must be in original case. No violent or mature video games accepted.

Remember: all items must be LIKE-NEW! Don’t prepare dirty, old, or worn items. They will not be accepted.

Unacceptable Items:

• Any item that is outdated, stained, missing parts, or broken
• Stuffed animals
• Improperly tagged items
• Dirty clothing
• Smelly clothing
• Outdated clothing
• Shoes that are not in excellent condition
• Toys that lack batteries and should have them
• Adult clothing or shoes
• Items that have been recalled (if in doubt, check online)
• Fast food kids’ meals toys

Remember, QUALITY IS EVERYTHING! All consignors must work together to provide great merchandise for our shoppers.
