Posh Baby Events Volunteers

POSH BABY depends heavily on our volunteers in order to run the event successfully. This cannot be overstated! Therefore, we reward volunteering very heavily!

Important Note: Any volunteer who cancels their work shift the day of or does not attend their shift for any reason other than an emergency will be rendered probationary. A second offense will mean total restriction from volunteering!

NOTE: If you are consigning, you may not schedule your drop-off during your volunteering work shift. Thank you.

BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING

Shop early. Volunteers who volunteer one shift get to shop before the general public or even consignors! Volunteer two shifts and be among the VERY FIRST to shop and grab the most unbelievable deals!

Thursday, October 7th, 4 pm: VIP PRESALE (you must be registered for two shifts to qualify for this presale)

Thursday, October 7th, 5 pm: VOLUNTEER PRESALE (you must be registered for one shift to qualify for this presale)

(Consignor presale will follow at 6 pm.)

Make more money. Consignors who volunteer two shifts get an extra 5% of all their sales – that’s 65%. Volunteer three shifts and earn 70% of all your sales! Even at 3 shifts, you will invest less time than you would preparing, marketing, and hosting your own garage sale!

Be part of a great event! Events are a fun way to meet and partner with other moms in offering a fantastic service for families.

You do not have to consign to be a volunteer. We have jobs that are less strenuous for pregnant women, too.

All Volunteers will receive an early shopping pass, whether or not they consign! That’s how important they are to our mutual success!
Volunteers help set up racks & tables, check in consignors’ items, organize the sale, check out customers, tear down, etc.

Be sure to sign up to volunteer. Some volunteering shifts are already filled, so reserve your shift today! All volunteers must sign up on the website in order to shop presales. Deadline for signing up to volunteer for the Autumn Event is Wednesday, September 29 at noon.

Volunteering is very important to the success of the sale. Therefore, if a volunteer does not show for her shift, she will not be allowed to volunteer at future events. In case of an EMERGENCY please contact Lauren at 757-615-3489 to let her know you will not make your shift. In all other cases, please find a replacement worker for your shift.

All volunteers should show up 15 minutes prior to their shift time in order to get checked in and learn their work station. Thank you in advance! We appreciate our volunteers.

Your husband can volunteer in your place or with you in any shift! So if you are married to a real ox-of-a-man, talk him into volunteering. Working together counts as 2 shifts. You may even be surprised by how much he enjoys shopping early - or he could give his pass to your best friend (wink).
